No 9 on Kiebitz is a beautifully decorated holiday home, situated in the old heart of Swakopmund, Vineta - 2 minutes walk to the beautiful beach. The house has four spacious bedrooms, sleeping a total of 8 guests comfortably. The Main bedroom has en-suite bathroom, the 3 other bedrooms share a family bathroom. Both bathrooms are equipped with a hot bathtub. Various places to chill and relax inside and outside the house invite you to spend time, no matter what the weather conditions are like. The house has a beautifully manicured garden and a private patio deck as well as outside dining, lounging and braai areas. We offer a modern fully equipped, dark-topped, open-plan kitchen, washing machine, tumble tryer, dishwasher etc. Plenty of parking with 2 oversize garages and if necessary on the yard up to 4 vehicles. We hope to have everything what you possibly need in your stay to feel welcome and home. All bedding, bath and beach towels are provided. Laundry facilities are available. We are animal friendly for pets. Have a walk past the famous Vineta beach and explore the numerous restaurants and shops at the PLATZ AM MEER Shopping Centre. Feel at home away from home :)

40 years tourism consolidate in Namibia. We did not want to spend our time flying back & forth over Africa, thus we simply moved from Germany to Namibia in the years 1980 & 1999. Time enough to get used to a foreign country, which we proudly call home. We have been entrepreneurs in SELF CATERING establishments in Namibia. You had Guesthouses and Hotels these days and Self Catering with Holiday Apartments and Holiday Houses have not been in mind. We moved from Windhoek to Swakopmund and got smaller with just the 3-Bedroom Beach Walk Holiday House and 2-Bedroom Beach Walk Cottage and of course out 4-bedroom 9 on Kiebitz. Luckily Mrs. Emgard started working for us in 2006. She turned out as a wonderful college and the heart and sould of the houses. We have a wonderful variety of restaurants in Swakopmund. A famous one is for sure THE TUG, reservation is essential, for the seafood menus. We love the BREWER & BUTCHER at the Strand Hotel or the JETTY 1905 Restaurant outside on the Jetty. For a perfect sundowner the TIGER REEF is a must and the LIGHTHOUSE offers very good Happy Hours & Pizza Madness on Mondays. As mentioned above at the shopping centre around the corner a numerous restaurant as well. You see, you must stay a couple of days with us :) Enjoy each moment, because activities are brilliant as well.
