Le Paradiso apartments are one of the few fully licensed tourist accomodations accredited by the Rodrigues tourist board .We have 2 apartments set in their own private secure garden .Set in Terre Rouge perfectly located for all amenities but far enough away to preserve tranquility .Both have 2 air conditioned(extra charge) bedrooms (1 x twin 1 x double) 1 x shower room 1x livingroom .Max occupancy is 6 per apartment . All rooms are ground floor , each apartment has a covered BBQ with dining area . A shared sun terrace can be accessed via stairs enabling fabulous lagoon/sunset views. You may be lucky enough to spot hump back whales on their migratory route. The sun terrace is equipped with sunbeds (2 per apartment ) parasol , table ( 1 per apartment) and chairs (4 per apartment)

I'm Tim(English) and my wife is Liz(British Mauritian) we have been married very happily for 20 years . We both love travelling and have been lucky enough to have seen most places throughout the world . As we approached retirement we decided to build Le Paradiso apartments in the most beautiful place in the world Rodrigues island just 9 miles x 3 miles of pure natural beauty. Situated 350 miles East of Mauritius . Rodrigues is now lucky enough to have 5 marine parks that protect the reef and lagoon that surrounds the island . Most of the island is completely unspoilt with beautiful rolling countryside and forest , perfect for walking or rambling . Rodrigues is without doubt the place to be if you need to get away from it all to relax in sheer tranquility.

Rodrigues is a relatively new tourist destination focusing on eco tourism to stop the onset of mass tourism spoiling the island . Flights are daily from Mauritius , make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. One of the first organisations , setup to reintroduce giant tortoise and to replant indemic trees removed during 17,1800's ,is the francois leguat tortois sanctuary (named after the first european who landed here & logged his findings)A truly fantastic place for all the familly not to be missed. Hiring a car or moped for a few days will enable you to discover the whole island if you cannot do that you must catch the bus to St. Francois then walk down the coastal path to Gravier every bay is better than the last one ! a truly breath taking experience ..Snorkelling in one of our marine parks can be organised, boat trips visiting some of our small islands can be arranged , the one not to be missed is Isle aux coco , again you can book in advance thru us.All of the trips include snorkelling , swimming and a BBQ with drinks. We now have a zip wire on the island that gives you great views . Fabulous local restaurants , Big game fishing , Rodrigues has it all !
