The hosts and service was very friendly and personal. The hosts would hang out with guests and talk to us about local things to do etc. It just felt more like visiting someone than staying at a booked place. The apartments are spotless and the west facing ones have beautiful hill and sea/city views. It's also a bit cooler up in these hills. The rooftop is a very cosy and chill place to hang out in the evenings.

We are a family of three and we felt home at this place, with the best of a silent mountain looking at the sea. Taghazout is also a very cool place, with lots of good restaurants and familiar beaches around. This property is also at a great location to travel around, both to pictoresque fishing villages and to most historical places (ex, Agadir's Medina, Taroudant). At Hill Retreat you can have all that just 8 minutes away from Taghazout, having the opportunity to rest with the best view of the stars and the ways of the locals. The family running this place is not only pleasant and easy going, but also open-minded, gentle, and truly interesting. They make you feel at a family home. The breakfasts are delicious and fresh. They can also cook you a typical tagine better than those you find at a restaurant. For sure, a place to come back to very soon. We have loved it! A big thank you to Idir, Khadija, Lahcen and Najat.
