Hi there and Welcome, I’m Anna! This house has been my home for more than 20 years and during this time it has changed and transformed, like my life has. During the winter months my Father is here with me, however for the rest of the year I live here alone so I thought I’d start sharing it with people who fancy spending a few days in this breathtaking corner of Italy. I would like to point out that I do not have any previous experience in the field so I shall therefore follow my instinct and heart, with above all respect towards anyone I will host: I wish for it to be a mutual delight, easy and true. I will try to accomodate any requests as best as I can. I love this house, therefore I only ask for the respect to be mutual. It’s a house full of objects meaningful to me, memories, it’s a lively house and one to be lived in. Why “Zizzihome”? (It’s a bit of a long story) “Zizzi” comes from the love of my life, my son Filippo. “Home” for its intrinsic meaning: not just “house or building” but also “heart and family”. I look forward to welcoming you and I apologise in advance for any mistakes. Feel happy and excited to begin this journey!  See you soon, I hope!

I love life. I'm complicated but fair and true. I love London. I'm passionate about Musicals .... My son works in the west end... He's my greatest love!!! In these difficult times I tried to adjust intensifying the hygiene (already most important to me) by using specific products. I tried to organise everything to make your stay safer. It will be tough for me as I founded the B&B on sharing with my guests and human contact. Social distancing, although right and needed, will be hard for me as a host. I hope we’ll find a way to share moments together while keeping the safe distance. Times are delicate and we all need to stay safe!

The location of the house is pretty strategic. It’s a 3 minute walk to Orta-Miasino’s train station; a 20 minute walk (Km. 1.8) to Orta’s Old Town Centre and a 13 minute walk to the equipped beach also Bar/Restaurant/Pizzeria “Luci sul Lago”. A few minutes away from the stunning hotel “Villa Crespi” famous for its internationally known and excellent Chef Antonio Cannavacciuolo. Literally a few meters away from the Pub/ Birreria “Il Cantuccio” and from the Bar/Trattoria “Vecchia Stazione”. The nearest exit on the highway coming from Milan is Arona. From Geona (Voltri-Sempione) the exit is Borgomanero. From Legro, lovely walk paths take you through the nearby woods where you’ll stumble across breathtaking views of the lake. One must not forget that Legro has for years been part of a national circuit of “Paesi Dipinti” (Painted villages). It hosts an open air art gallery dedicated to cinema filmed on the Lake and in the region. My house presents a painting dedicated to the german movie “Jacob und Adele” by Hans – Jurgen Togel. The painting is also framed by film with portraits of Piero Chiara, Gianni Rodari, Mario Saldati e Augusto Mazzetti.
