An important piece of information for trains to pay attention to, we recommend the state railway train stopping at Pompei Centrale, or the Circumvesuviana train which stops at Pompei Sanctuary towards Poggiomarino and not to take into consideration the Circumvesuviana train which stops at Villa de Misteri, this is about a 20 minute walk from our house and from the center of Pompeii and the Sanctuary*.
