Hôtellerie has always been part of my family; it is like my genetic heritage, a piece of my DNA. It was Nonno Erino and Nonna Augusta (my grandparents) who started my family's hotel tradition in the 1950s, when the city life was growing and the countryside was a place of few opportunities. They started with a tiny tavern in the thriving “Piano” district of Ancona. Nearby, in what was once their apartment where they often welcomed travelers and guests of the restaurant, now rises La Maison di Carla, a small and charming guesthouse consisting of 4 rooms with private bathroom. I decided to gather all the stories of their guests, the story of my family and my own story to bring those spaces back to life, to bring them back to being a guesthouse. So I furnished that apartment where my grandparents dedicated themselves to hospitality, paying attention to every little detail. Design, light, furniture and textiles: I have carefully chosen every single item to make my guests’ stay as pleasant as possible and to make them feel pampered.
