B&B Colori e Note was born from the owner's great passion for music, and in this establishment, he tried to merge it together with the vitality and positive energy of colors. In the style of B&B Colori e Note, the association and presence of colors in music are expressed, not as perception or synesthesia, but as a physical presence within lyrics or song titles that have marked the history of modern music. Just like in the ancient Neapolitan spirit, at Colori e Note, we love to define ourselves as "All Friendly"... there are no distinctions of any kind, but only the desire to share happy travel experiences with many new friends... and above all, we are "Child Friendly" – children are always welcome here!

The B&B is located in the historic district of Materdei, just 70 meters from the Metro Line 1 station. It is a neighborhood in the oldest and most characteristic part of Naples, halfway between the lower and hilly parts of the city, representing Neapolis, the Greek Naples. Materdei, along with Sanità (the birthplace of the great Totò) and Vergini, was the splendid setting of the film "L'oro di Napoli" (The Gold of Naples). In particular, the famous episode "Pizze a credito" (Pizza on Credit) was filmed within the neighborhood, made famous by the performances of Sophia Loren in the role of the "pizza maker" and Paolo Stoppa as the "unconsolable widower." The neighborhood has recently undergone effective architectural redevelopment, especially in its main square, Piazza Scipione Ammirato, where the Metro Line 1 station is also located. The square was renovated in 2003 and is characterized by a strong presence of architectural and artistic elements such as sculptures, mosaics, and tiled works by Chia and Ontani. The Materdei station itself is part of the famous and unique art circuit, a source of pride for the city, called "Le Stazioni dell'Arte" (The Stations of Art).
