Host Information

Borgo di Campioni was completely rebuilt 10 years ago, thanks to the desire of the actual owners of giving a new life to an old Tuscan farm. The principal house was in very bad conditions, but it still preserved all the original materials of Tuscan tradiction. During the precise restructuring, the recovery and the valorization of these elements was the main target. And so, the original window thresholds have been blasted and replaced, while the pig trough old stones have been transformed into the steps of the stairs. Also the color of the external walls has come back to the original, which had been covered by a weak yellow over the years. The choise of the furnishings has tried to mantein the Tuscan flavor, preferring row materials such as wood and iron. Then, everything has been harmonized with the most modern facilities and comforts, to offer to our guests a real relaxing Tuscan stay.
Borgo di Campioni isn't just a typical Tuscan villa, but a real life style, rhythmic by scents and sounds of Nature around. Actually, on Campioni hill each season deserves to be lived: the Spring, with lavender and olive trees blooming, the Summer, with the chirping of crickets, the Autumn, with the olive harvest, and the Winter, with the citrus maturation. Each season offers different events: Spring, with the “Open Week” to discover the villages around, from Vinci to Collodi, Summer, with “Lucca Summer Festival” and “Puccini Opera Festival”, Autumn, with “Lucca Comics & Games”, and Winter, with “Santa Claus Village” in Montecatini Terme. So our guests can never get bored! They could relax both in the pool and walking along the several running trails, they could appreciate both “al fresco” dinners under the patio overlooking Valdinievole and the warm and cozy atmosphere lying in front of one of the three chimneys, while tasting a glass of Tuscan red wine. The closest restaurants are about 3km (2mi) far and they offer typical dishes of our tradition.
