Surrounded by the deep vegetation of the Lunigiana, a whisker away from the sea of Lerici and the Cinque Terre. In an ancient countryside, with a magical view of the Apuan Alps, where time seems to stand still ….. you can discover landscapes, flavours and perfumes of a time long past. We restored with passion an antique hamlet, now an historical building. A real oasis of calm and beauty. About breakfasts, please notice that for the genius partners we serve a tipical italian breakfast like milk coffe and cake. Is enough to be happy everything home made, but if you like the delicious breakfast that we serve on request please ask us : eggs, ham, yogurt and fruit, cappuccino , cheese . We have a little extracharge . Ask us !
We are Ilaria and Stefano , more then 10 years ago we felt in love with an abandoned village , and we restoured an original Xv scent building ..here the time stand still ! Many people arrive from all the world to visit this special place ..but do not spread the word ! I am particularly interested in art , nature and food !I enjoy the company of my guests, indeed we keep often in contact after them stay. I make cooking classes , thanks to the knoledge of my grandma , 96 old : if you like to enjoy , please ask about that ! The restaurant is open only upon reservation, as we are very busy also with garden ... and if we have time we like to talk a bit with our guests !
Surrounded by the uncontaminated nature of Lunigiana, you can often witness some rare happenings: Free horses peacefully pasturing on the field over the village, cows and mules roaming slowly down the village path. Discover fresh rivers and waterfalls were to canoe, relax while fishing, or simply swim undisturbed in fresh water of a stream. Go for long walks in the secular chestnut groves, or on the ridge of the Appennines on a mountain bike or on horse back through mountain fields.. By car you reach, in only 40 minutes, the beaches of Lerici or the Cinque Terre, where you can walk the strikingly beautiful pathway known as Via dell’Amore (the love pathway), and visit the castle and San Peter church in Portovenere. Or else you can visit the medieval villages and castles which, still intact, tell tales of Knights and pilgrims who walked along the Francigena road from Rome to Jerusalem.
