This renovated 1930s farmhouse is next to Lake Midfjardarvatn. It offers a fully equipped guest kitchen. Hvammstangi village is within 10 minutes’ drive. Most of Nedra-Vatnshorn Guesthouse's simple rooms have shared bathroom facilities. Some rooms have a private bath with lake and mountain views. The guest TV lounge features a selection of games, books and magazines. Other facilities include a garden, terrace and BBQ grill. Breakfast includes produce from the farm itself among other products. the nearest restaurant 7 km from the apartment Neðra-Vatnshorn offers great food for a reasonable price. Gift shops, cafés and a petrol station are found in the area.dairy working farm with sheep and horses: guests are welcome to see our horses and sheep on request. Good hiking conditions nearby area and sealwatching at Vatnsnespeninsula The nearest grocery store and Iceland's Seal Centre is found in Hvammstangi.

small guesthouse with few rooms but a warm welcome where the host is available and ready to give the guests advices for trips around. Guests can get an inside to the farm´s life and touch a horse or walk around the farm. 2 spacious rooms with private bath in small cottages without kitchenette but a kettle to cook water , teabags and instant coffee for free. This rooms have a lake view from the terrace outside and a mountain view from the window of the room. Each room has a space of 18 sqmeters and 3 sqmeters bathroom with a shower , and WC.
I am willing to show my guests around the farm and walk with them to the horses on request free of charge. I am an open minded person working hard but I can always find a little time for chatting with guests and give them informations. I know many places of my country which I can share my experience to my guests.
There are many nice restaurants and cafés around. There are also 2 horserentals closed by, museums and grocery store in the village which is only a 10 in drive from the farm.
