Feast for eyes and ears. Woke up every morning to birdsong, very quiet green and peaceful (after the pesky kayakers leave). Best sleep I had in the 4 weeks in India. Vipin and staff (shoutout to Sachin and Anuj) were super attentive and took care of every single request. We will remember those fresh sautéed garlic prawns.. Cola beach was a short walk away and perfect for our walks. Highly recommend if you want simple, attentive, non-commercial place to relax

Samyama was for us like a dream come true. Right in the ‘jungle’ and only two hundred metres from Cola Beach. We saw monkeys in the trees and every morning we heard heavenly bird sounds. We were hosted by Vipin and his team, they did a great job to make our stay unforgettable. And last but not least: the food was excellent!

I don’t even know where to begin…the location is magical, hidden deep in the jungle but walking distance from a quiet beach. I loved staying in my little jungle hut! Well, not so little…it’s spacious with a powerful ceiling fan, and the bathroom is also large with a small screened skylight so you can shower under the trees and listen to the birds (side note: this is also a birder’s paradise…I probably added 10 new species to my life list). Vipin, the owner, has put his HEART and SOUL into every facet of this retreat. He is attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely wants his guests to have the best experience possible. He has exciting plans for the future , and I sincerely hope that I can visit again to see them come to fruition. There’s an onsite restaurant and bar, and every single dish I tried was stellar. The whole staff is kind and gentle. It’s truly a peaceful retreat

We loved our stay at Samyama! This beautiful, relatively new resort is only going to get better with time. We stayed in a charming bungalow with a spacious bathroom, a shaded front porch, and a view of the lagoon. But the best part was the on site restaurant! The food was unreal, some of the best butter chicken I've ever had, among many other delicious dishes. The menu has quite a spread, as well, so you're sure to find something you'll love. The beach is only a short 3 minute walk away, accessible by kayak or on foot. We enjoyed chatting with the proprietor, and his staff was attentive and kind, as well. And we loved meeting their cat Kitti! Highly recommend this stay, especially for any foodies looking to travel to Cola Beach.

This place is magical. The mornings and nights are so silent, the sounds of the surrounding forrest are beautiful. The room is spacious, clean, the bed very comfortable. Walking out on the veranda was always such a pleasure to sit and enjoy the view of the trees, the little stream and listen to the birds. I did not want to leave, the staff are so wonderful and helpful, it was a joy to share this homely space, and the beach is only 5mins walk, and so in Samyama you will hear waves of the ocean.
