Two Kilometre away from the heart (The Mall Road,Chowrasta) of Darjeeling town,B&B Homestay is nestled in the quiet corner at a small village named Aloobari far from the hustle and bustle of the noisy town surrounded by greenery and is blessed by Guru Rinpoche which lies inside Mak Dhog Monastery,established in 1914 for the peace of 1st world war. The Monastery(Gumba) is beautifully structured with the Buddhist sculptures and paintings where the monks (Lamas ) chant the Buddhist prayer every morning. In a distance of about 8-10 kilometre there lies THE TIGER HILL form where the one can witness the mesmerizing Sun rise and its beautiful reflection on the Mt. Kanchenjunga. Beside this there are few Buddhist monasteries to visit within a six kilometre radius. Apart from this, the highest Hill Railway station Ghoom and the Railway Museum are places to drop by on the way to those monasteries.One can catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga from War memorial Batasia Loop.
