This cottage is set in the seaside town of Moville. It has stunning scenery and a holiday atmosphere with some excellent restaurants and bars which provide live music at night. My favourite is Rawdons a traditional pub/ shop which has an open fire and hosts music sessions. The house itself is cosy and comfortable with an open fire two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the sitting room. A stairs leads down to the kitchen which is well equipped for cooking and baking. The bathroom is also downstairs and has a shower and bath. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a loft bed for a small child. It is a short stroll to the stunning shore of Lough Foyle where there is a variety of facilities including a playground, tenniscourts, canoeing, fishing. Also there is a beautiful three mile shore walk to the next village Greencastle , stop and eat at the renowned fish restaurant Kealeys in Greencastle. Derry city is a half an hour drive with wonderful history still retaining the city walls and excellent restaurants and nightlife. There are five beaches within fifteen minutes drive of the town each as beautiful as the other, my favourite is Shroove which has a lighthouse and views of Scotland.

I have owned this house for ten years and lived in Moville prior to moving away. This is a residential area and while we realise that you are on holiday and want to enjoy yourself and have fun this is a family home and not a party house, we request a maximum of six people sleep here as that is its capacity. We do not take stag parties or hen parties and do request a booking deposit which is a cleaning and breakages deposit you get this back at the end of your stay we don't expect the house back perfect just tidy with surfaces wiped down.

Moville and the Inisowen peninsula is a hidden gem. Stunningly beautiful with the friendliest and most generous people. It has some of the most beautiful beaches for swimming, walking , snorkelling there are five within fifteen minutes drive. Malin head the furthest point in Ireland is a twenty minute drive stop in the pretty town of Malin for refreshments on the way, walk on five fingers strand a fantastic beach . Visit Culdaff which also has a beautiful sandy beach and a playground in the dunes, call into McGrorys hotel for their seafood chowder and guinness, also renowned for their live music in the evenings.
