Our apartment is suitable for solo travellers, families, friends people with reduced mobility who are visiting South Leitrim, the Midlands and the West of Ireland. It is a suitable location to sit back, relax and unwind after the day. Guests have full access to the complete property with a patio area outside the back door of the apartment. The patio gets the sun from early afternoon until the sun sets. We are located 5 min. drive from Lough Rynn Hotel. Local facilities include Fishing Golfing Walking Cycling Historical sites Places of interest Churches Train station Knock Ireland West Airport Hiking Bowling Cinema Tourism Country pub
We have a working organic drystock farm and our apartment is located beside our dwellinghouse on our farm 2 friendly gentle playful collie dogs
Our local shop and pub is Fox's of Tooman which is just 4 mins drive. Lough Rynn Castle is 5 min drive. Mohill and Drumlish town are 8 mins drive. We are located in the heart of the Irish countryside. Why not get your daily walk in and immerse yourself in local history right on our doorstep. As you walk you will see - Farnaught Lych Gate at the entrance to Farnaught cemetery, Farnaught Church of Ireland (a beautiful stone building), historic ancient monastery site and Farnaught Lime Kiln (where lime for building mortar was produced back in the day, now completely restored ). For a longer walk - why not stroll to Lough Rynn (50 min stroll and work up an appetite) for afternoon tea and a pint of Guinness . You will see all of the above historical sites on your walk and you could visit Lough Rynn Lake, sit for a while on the shore side and view nature at its best.
