The host was great and recommended a bunch of places to see. The location is minutes from the ferry but tucked away from most foot traffic so it’s quite lovely.

Room Mar is located in an old house, built in 1880. The house is located in the center of Vis surrounded by houses that are over a hundred years old, the houses are closely connected by Dalmatian alleys that are characteristic of our island. The room is newly decorated and equipped and after each season something new is decorated.
Issa is a person who welcomes her guests, she is always smiling and happy. She communicates with her guests even before their arrival and sends them video to see how to get to Mar's room. She tries to provide guests with as much information about the island as possible, so She is always available and helpful.
Since the Mar room is located in the city center, guests must be aware that they can not be provided with a quiet unit (although so far no one has complained). Future guests must know that the house is very old and located in the city center, that everything is heard outside and inside, but these are the charms of Mediterranean old houses and small towns on the Mediterranean islands. We advise guests who are looking for peace and quiet to look for houses in the bays and houses of newer construction. Nearby there is a bakery, restaurants, agencies, shops, ferry port, beach, open-air cinema, bars...
