Paradise Apartments is a year round retreat on the beautiful island of Hvar. We are located in a remote bay on the Eastern part of the island. The bay is quiet and unspoiled and the beach is less than 30 m from the apartments.. Each apartment has a separate entrance from the outside, a beautiful sea view and large balcony or terrace. Come and enjoy crystal clear waters, pebble beach, peaceful surroundings and the sounds of nature. Great place for families, couples, and singles. We are a completely off the grid and ecologically conscious facility: we only have solar electricity so electricity is limited. Any electrical items (other than cell phones or laptops) brought on the property need to be approved by the host. Our hot water is heated by the sun and water is brought to us in cistern trucks. A great place for vacations, artist's retreat or just a place to get away from the daily rush.
We are a family that loves the area and has family ties on the island for several centuries. We have olive groves, vineyards and gardens and we enjoy the outdoors.
During the summer months there are a couple restaurants nearby as well as a small market a short walk from the apartments. Larger shopping and more restaurants can be found in Jelsa (30 km), Stari Grad (40 km) and Hvar (50 km). The island of Hvar is home to a number of UNESCO sites. There are great hiking and rock climbing locations and it is a super biking destination. The Eastern part of the island is still very natural and unspoiled.
