Our house is located at Gerani, with fantastic views over the White Mountains and the islet of Theodorou. The sandy beach in front of the house has a length of 2.5 km and its crystal clear water is a real attraction both to locals and tourists. Next to the beach there are many facilities such as sunbeds, showers, beach bars, water sport services and a lifeguard. Gerani is a small coastal village located between Maleme and Platanias, just 12 km away from Chania centre and 30 km from the International Airport of Chania. It is situated in a verdant valley with olive and citrus groves. Gerani offers many facilities: shops, pharmacy, restaurants, bars, super markets, bakery and grocery stores. It has a very frequent bus connection to Chania and the surroundings.
