Καλημέρα! We are the Didones (now a family of four!): Claudia, Marco and our daughters Sofia and Lucia. We were born in Lugano, in Switzerland, in 1977, and met each other in high school at 16 years old. And…. well, here we are, continuing our discovery of new passions and the many interests we share (one of which is Greece!). In 1996, after high school, we started our university studies in Zurich. A wonderful city, where we graduated, married and changed from a couple to a family. It was Zurich where Sofia was born, where we became teachers, and where we began to dream! We left a wonderful country and city, our dear family and our fantastic friends… And now, after almost two years, our dream has been realised: the four apartments we imagined are now built, furnished and ready for guests!!! Where? Right in the middle of a beautiful olive grove, on a hill with a stupendous view of the sea – exactly what we wished for!

The modern and airy ground floor apartments with private veranda (built in 2017 and about 55 m2) have a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with convertible sofa bed, a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with rainfall shower. Some have children's room with two single beds, perfect for a family. The kitchen is equipped with oven, cooktop, fridge with freezer, ketty, toaster and so on. You choose if you prefer to eat in the kitchen or outside, on your private veranda with sea-view. The double room offers a massive wood queen size bed with natural Latex mattress, memory foam pillows (standard or thick, you choose) and first quality cotton linen, towels and blankets. The modern arranged bathroom has a "rainfall" shower. The childrens room has a mezzanine bunk bed with two single beds, both mattresses are 90x200. Both living room and bedroom are airconditioned/heated. We are open all year. From spring 2018 a swimming pool will be available for our guests.

Impormasyon ng neighborhood

Our styled brand new “houses in nature” are situated in the olive groves of Lyridianà, along the old national road between Kolymbari and Kissamos. Within a five minute walk you can reach the little village of Lyridianà: quietness, a couple of houses and some locals, a water source and cicadas sound. For tavernas, bars and lounge go to Koleni (5 minutes car ride) or to Nopigia 8 min), where you also find the closest beach. The center of Kissamos (10 min) offers you a choice of everything, from traditional tavernas to very fashion bar, turist shops and supermarkets. The place is well located regarding fab Falassarna beach, Elafonisi and Balos, the town of Chania and easy to reach from Chania Airport. The best way is to rent a car at the airport. Some buses of KTEL traveling from Chania to Kissamos stop in Lyridiana. If you need to be picked up at the airport please contact us.
