In a completely renovated building, right in front of the waterfront of Rethymno, overlooking the Venetian port and the vast beach, these two spacious apartments (110 sqm each) are ideal for families and large groups who want a place to live their vacation, and not just pass them on. Situated at a great spot, viewing the venetian port, the palm beach and the best street for entertainment: cafes, restaurants and bars are literally on your feet. The elegance of the old house is highlighted through the modern and functional touches of the recent renovation, surrounded by an undeniably privileged natural island landscape. ONLY THE UPPER FLOOR enter the great view terrace , with jacuzzi and dinning facilities, FROM 01/05-15/10 each year, DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER. We will be glad to open the terrace and jacuzzi for you out of season, if the weather conditions are OK, at extra cost. All prices from 16/10-30/04 at the suite with the jacuzzi do not include use of terrace and hot tub. Daily cleaning is offered under request(not available on public holidays and Sundays). Towels are replaced every 3 days and sheets every week .Breakfast at next door cafe Store 311includes one coffee or juice or tea and one of 5 breakfast options Store 311 offers. Book your holiday in the heart of the city and enjoy your stay...not at the most quiet ,but at the most vivid part of town!
We love hosting, as we love travelling ourselves. We tried to set up our properties choosing the greatest tips by rentals we have stayed at: clean place, nice view, quality service, comfortable resting and, last but not least... friendly hosts, willing to make guests feel like locals! Although self check in is available , we will be glad to meet you, show you around and make you feel like home! We will be glad to provide you suggestions for food, drinks, hikes, baby sitters, as well as for parking, car rentals and beaches. Especially Popi, will be glad to share a bike-ride with you, if you want to...
Either In winter or summer, the city's waterfront is a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike. During the high season, starting from 01/04 each year, the road in front of the apartment is closed in the afternoons (after 19.30), as it turns into a pedestrian street full of life. All year long, the street is also colsed on Sundays, from11.00 a.m.-19.00. Most of the city's popular restaurants, cafes and bars are located on this street, which is always full of life. That makes the place ideal for those who love entertainment and night life, as the area is the part of town that never sleeps... Please, take this in mind in case you are looking for a quiet and isolated place for your summer holidays...this is not the one! Take in mind that parking in the area is not allowed and parking in town is a hard case for locals and tourists. We have no parking spot close, but you may ask us to arrange parking for you(depending on availability). The part of the beach at the front belongs to the old town of Rethymnon, so access to the rest of it is a matter of minutes and of course you do not need any means of transportation. Shops and first-hand shops are within walking distance. You can either see the Fortezza fortress when entering the terrace, provided you have booked the top floor apartment. The picturesque venetian port is on the left, offering great views by both apartments. The part of the beach right at the front, is not recommended for swimming, as it is next to the port, but is great for morning and afternoon walks. The famous long sandy beach of the city is right in front of you, with closest swimming part of it at about 450m. You may enjoy your day in many beach cafes, where you can pay for coffee and get free sunbeds. If you like watersports, you will have nice professional options for those too.
