Socratous House offers privacy to its guests, yet it is located very close to the village center of Aianteio and several business outlets. Ideal for someone looking for a place to relax, yet to have everything to hand, even the city of Athens, which can be reached within the hour (traffic permitting). Offering an island location with easy access to both the capital of Greece, Pireaus Port, and the Peloponnese. Its 5G WIFI makes it also an ideal writers retreat, a business trip escape from the city life or for someone who wants to work from home. The roof terrace offers a panoramic sea view, there is a small, extremely private sunny courtyard, and a veranda to the front with a sea view. NOT suitable for infants and children under 12, NOT ideal for guests with mobility difficulties due to the access via several steps from the street.
My interests include writing, art, music, cooking, gardening, reading, and meeting new people. Having travelled extensively, I try to offer my guests a very comfortable stay within the rates offered.
Socratous House is located on the next street above the village center making it minutes away from : ATM, bakery, pharmacies, electric car charging point, kiosks, petrol station, a very good mini-market, takeaways, coffee shops, restaurants, and only 10 minutes walk to the sea. There is a large Saturday fruit and veg+ market (not on public holidays) and there are two large supermarkets 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes on foot. There is also a regular bus service to and from Salamina. Athens, Pireaus and the Peloponnese are easily accessible by ferry or boat.
