We absolutely loved our apartment and location. It was the perfect start to our holiday. Everything about it worked very well for us. We loved the outside seating and the proximity to the small beach about 400 metres walk. We enjoyed the wine and treats left for us. We also liked going next door to the restaurant for a meal or just to sit and enjoy a drink and the view. There are also great hikes very close and some small shops and tavernas.

As a note for others, if you don't like long walks to markets/tavern, you need a car rental. This also applies if you are planning to visit other parts of the island 🏝 because everything else is kind of far. We did have a car, and here are a few examples: closest markets/taverns are at about 5 to 10 min drive, Chania 33min, Elafonisi ~2h, Balos 2h, Falassarna 90min etc...

The owner is the best - helped us with every question we had, suggested us the best restaurants in the city and guided us to the best beaches in the island. The rooms are very spacious and clean.
