- phenomenal breakfasts - great way to start the day - Caldera view, from the highest spot in Imerovigli - Perfect location between Fira and Oia, right on the Fira to Oia walking path. Avoids the cruise ship masses in Fira and the hordes in Oia - March weather was perfect for hiking, hot under the sun with a cool breeze. - Joan, Manager of Meroviglia, was a superb hostess, anticipating our needs, making suggestions, recommending restaurants, booking scooter, organizing cars, very hospitable. - The whole staff was very helpful and accommodating. - Great cocktails in the evening around the warm fires.

You must stay here when visiting Santorini!! The hotel is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a stunning balcony view. The hotel’s restaurant, Fico, was some of the best food we had during our stay in Santorini. So much so that we ate here three times during our six day stay in addition to the delicious daily breakfast. It is the staff that truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. The attention to detail in the service is rarely found anymore and Meroviglia surpassed all of our expectations! We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.

The property was beautiful. The main building has been modernised while beautifully maintaining a lot of the original 250 year old features. We booked based on the design renderings and the real thing absolutely lived up the the design pictures. We stayed in the executive suite and we’re thrilled with the room, pool and restaurant. There is also a small art gallery attached which is open to view.

The Meroviglia is a nice hotel in Imerovigli which is a good location. The service was great and the breakfast quite good as well. We didn't spend much time in the hotel as we were out and about but we did enjoy the balcony with a nice view of Fira and the port and the water.

There are too many good things to say about Meroviglia! The location is central and perfect for sunrises and sunsets since it’s at the highest point of the island. After walking around the island the one thing we were so thankful for was that Meroviglia was tucked away so that you had privacy from walkers/hikers, but still right off the main drag to do things. Breakfast was delicious. Staff amazing. Ioanna set up our ATV rental and made sure it was reasonably priced and she was also very helpful with narrowing down dining experiences and getting reservations last minute. Room was beyond our expectations (we had the executive suite with the private pool and it was perfect to sit at with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise) Community Pool was beyond refreshing and super clean after hiking the island all day.
