Very modern space with convenient bath and kitchen facilities. Hot tub was a bonus we didn't use. Proprietor was a HUGE asset - amazing advice and service throughout our trip. Beds were very comfortable. Great location convenient to everything in Old Town.

He is probably the happiest, most pleasant person we have ever met and had all the perfect recommendations - restaurants, activities, and he even parked our rental car for us! Excellent boutique hotel. The owner Idomeneas is exceptionally friendly and helpful. He spent about 30 min going through Chania, what to do in the area, and provided great recommendations. He was very available throughout our stay and accommodating. The room was spacious with comfortable mattress.

A gracious welcome, helpful advice by the owner Idomeneo. Lighting well thought out. Felt modern in design. A pleasure to walk up a beautiful wooden staircase. The products supplied were of good quality. Even the hairdryer was tops. The air conditioning was silent and easy to adjust. HThe breakfast provided by the hotel in nearby church square was plentiful and delicious and the service impeccable. Chania is a very sophisticated and beautiful place. I would return to shamim in a flash.

Incredible location! Right in the heart of the Old Town. Perfectly appointed room and personal service. Everything you'd expect from a boutique hotel. Idomeneas at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. Despite having a late arrival to Chania, he met up with us, made sure everything was perfect so we immediately relax after traveling the entire day. He gave us all great local places to eat, best things to see in Chania, best ways to get there. He's a treasure trove of information. He's adds a personal touch to service which is rare. For example on our check out he gifted us some olive oil he personally pressed from his trees, honey, and local mountain tea from Crete. We were fortunate enough to book the upper floor of the hotel which includes the roof top. It's a great place to sit and relax at night if you're too tired from running around all day or just need a break. Absolutely would stay there again.
