Ermou pedestrian street is the most famous market place of Greece. In this street you can find all the famous brands and not only. Also Monastiraki is suitable for long walks in the narrow streets full of countless small stores where on Sunday there is an open market right next to the remains of the Roman Agora and under the Acropolis. From the other hand there is Psiri, one of the liveliest districts with endless choices of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. In addition, only a few meters away the famous 150 years old Municipal Varvakios fish Market and Evripidou Street the so called "traditional market area" full of spices, herbs, meat, cold cuts and dairy products from small artisan producers all over Greece.
