Castelli Torre is a unique house of 15th century with an amazing view. This flat is located in the first and second floor of medieval house situated in the old city center of Emporio also known as Castelli. It has been renovated in 2019 according to the traditional techniques and using the finest quality materials. From the apartment you can enjoy a sea view and it takes only a 10 min drive to arrive to the beach. The apartment is ideal for 2 or 3 people. The stairs are made from old stones and can be too steep therefore this property is not recommended for people with mobility problems or small children.
My parents have visited Emporio in the 70’s and felt enchanted by the unique character of the Castelli neighborhood. They have bought our house and have put all their energy to renovate the house with respect to local architecture using traditional techniques and materials. Some decades after, my husband and I have owned those 3 appartements which were recently renovated in 2017 for the Loggia & Porta appartements and 2019 for the Torre appartement. We believe that those houses offer a unique Santorini experience that we wish to share with you.
The old village of Emporio is a picturesque Cycladic settlement which stills preserves its authenticity. It is all pedestrian with charming tiny all-in white roads and small alleys. Away from crowded touristic spots this village offers a calm stay with sea views close to the most beautiful beaches of the island (5 minutes drive from the Perivolos beach and 10 minutes from Vlychada beach), archaeological sites, wineries & beautiful hikes.
