This is a beautiful traditional family-run hotel. The lobby was doubling as the bedroom for the owner’s baby son when we arrived and all the family were around most of the time, chatting and joking and creating a lovely warm atmosphere. Don’t go if you are looking for king sized beds or oversized showers; do go if you want a friendly, helpful refuge from the crowded old town. And the family were very helpful. As soon as we asked George immediately got on the phone to arrange a hire car for us (with a great rate) and ferried us to the pick up spot, greeting and joking with everyone as we sped through the old town in his electric buggy.
