Anna's Stone House is the perfect house for couples, nature lovers, couples on honeymoon and for families with 2 small kids. The house has a large garden with trees, flowers, herbs and vegetables. At the garden there is also a Jacuzzi and a pergola where you can relax and enjoy the Cretan summer sun! It is the perfect place where you can calm down and live the traditional Cretan experience away from the city noise and anxiety. Anna's House is an authentic traditional stone house. It was built around 1900 and it was completely renovated at 2017 with much love and care. At the beginning it was used as an oil factory and afterwards as a guest house accommodating the first tourists at the region of Aptera. A small basket with fresh vegetables, Cretan oil, raki and fruits (all of them produced by us) will be offered to you as a welcome gift at your arrival at the house.

Aptera is a very quiet and nice neighborhood with gorgeous sea & mountain view since it is situated on a hill and accommodates lots of travelers every year. There is a large archaeological site (ancient ruins & a large castle) nearby which is called Aptera that you should visit during your stay. Also the beach is only 3 km away by car. At the village there are 2 taverns and a mini-market for your basic-need shopping. Areas nearby are ideal for walking-hiking because of the big variety of herbs, olive trees and flowers! The area is next to the National Highway from where you can visit easily the whole Crete and enjoy the famous beaches and sightseeing. Ten minutes by car is the village of Kalyves where you can find supermarket, family beaches and taverns. A bit further down the coast is the village of Almyrida, with a lovely beach and fish-taverns. A car rental is suggested during your stay at Anna's Stone House.
