AGGELOKASTRO CASTLE Aggelokastro is one of the most significant Byzantine castles in Greece, built on the highest peak of the island, in the northwestern part of Corfu. The first castle on this site was built in the 13th century, but the building that can be seen today dates back to the 18th-19th century.
