Set amidst a 12,000-m2 olive grove, Agrikies Country Retreat features an outdoor pool with modern sun loungers enjoying views of the Ionian Sea. The complex offers self-catered accommodation, a restaurant and snack bar. Lagouvardos Beach is at 1.5 km. Fitted with stone walls and handmade furnishings, all split-level apartments open to both a balcony and patio with sea, garden and pool views. Featuring a fireplace and built-in sofa, the living room comes with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. A fully equipped kitchen and air conditioning are included. At the poolside snack bar of Agrikies, guests can start their day with a buffet breakfast enriched with local honey and sweets. Homemade flavours and Mediterranean, gourmet dishes are served at the restaurant. A communal, traditional BBQ is also provided. The archaeological sites of Nestor Palace and Pylos Castle can be found within a 20-minute drive. Agrikies is a unique small resort, an oasis in the messinian olive tree forest. In a quite rural area with an amazing view to the Ionian sea. There are two special moments during the day. The mornings, when the sun comes up over the the olive trees and the sunset moment. The rooms, apartments and glamping tents are made with a lot of personal care and with a hippy chic style always influenced by the mediterranean style. We produce our own olive oil and we use it in the restaurant. We also grow our own vegetables. Everything is fresh and delicious because we do everything ...with love!
Marina is the first person that you usually meet first at agrikies. She will welcome you, always with a smile and a local treat. Always available to provide you informations about the sites of interest in the area. She grew up in the area so trust her for any tips for daytrips or other available activities.
