The host was welcoming. The room was very clean and neat. They provided us with a great breakfast. Felt like home. They also gave us a tour of their wine making.

We stayed here one night before visiting Upllistsikhe. I really recommend to order dinner with wine tasting. Food from Gogi's wife was amazing. Gogi is really cool guy and told us a lot about the region and wines. Floor was bit cold (we came in early March), so bring some slippers. Showers are combined with toilet.

This is one of the best homestays we had in the whole Georgia. Gogi prepared us dinner on a very short notice and had wine tasting too. Gogi is one of the very best host!!! He takes hosting to the next level, and his approach is very personal. The wines are really good too and we learned more about them. We had a very good breakfast the next day and was also introduced to their honey business. Georgian wine, honey and some Georgian dance video! It was an amazing stay! I highly recommend this place for a great Georgia cultural and family experience. Room is big and affordable and the house is beautiful with their own cellar. Gogi and his family were very much accommodating. We were initially confused on how to get to Gogi’s place but his wife and son guided us on how to reach them and Gogi himself picked us up so we can follow him to their guesthouse. They were very hospitable. His son provided us with a mini wine tour. We had our first wine tasting provided by Gogi. We’re not used to drinking wine but with his help we were able to choose wines that we liked best. His wife cooked great food (both dinner and breakfast).

This guy is a gem of a person! Him and his father speak English and are very very nice people. Let me tell you that I bought a bottle of Chacha and broke it, and they replaced it with another and insisted not to charge me for it! They have a great establishment and they are really eager to show you their business and explain how they make the wine and they give you an extensive explanation on how their 50 years old business has been ran through the years. We had a great conversation with the host who's really insightful and full of facts and information on wine especially and on the Georgian culture in general. I can't imagine a better place to spend my next stay in Georgia rather than here.

We had a great time here. The hosts are very friendly and kind. Mr. Gogi kindly explained everything about his cellar; we had the chance to taste many different types of homemade wine while enjoying a simple but delicious dinner. Also, our room was small but very clean. We'd like to come back here in the future.

Excellent dinner and breakfast! Dinner is a little extra (60 GEL for two persons). Conversation with Gogi was awesome. Wine tasting was an interesting experience. Wine is great. You can buy some at the property for 20 GEL a bottle.

Very sweet family who will make you feel at home. Traditional family guesthouse, Gogi the owner is the winemaker who shared with us his family’s history of wine for the past 120 years. We had dinner at their home, Nino the wife cooks traditional georgian meals super tasty and abundant. We ate everything because it’s delicious. During dinner Gogi did a wine tasting with all the explanations. Excellent! Before leaving, we bought 2 bottles of wine from his own production as we loved it so much! Great experience. 10 out of 10.

Gogi and his family were exceptional hosts, so keen to share the traditions of wine making and their culture with us. The meals were great, the company of Gogi and the wine were even better! We learned about the traditional techniques of wine making and the small scale agriculture of the region in general and his family in particular. This is a 4, going on 5, generation wine family with so much knowledge to share.
