Watergate Cottage is a charming, traditional Devon longhouse, found in the heart of Swimbridge, close to the pub, a timber play park and endless country walks. You will be perfectly placed to enjoy all that North Devon has to offer - beautiful beaches, charming towns and the wonders of Exmoor and beyond. I’m Roisin and when I’ve not been at uni or travelling, I have lived in North Devon all my life. We have lived in our gorgeous cottage in the stunning village of Swimbridge since 2016 and we’ve poured our hearts into maintaining and improving our wonderful home. We love where we live for so many reasons - our lovely neighbours, the church bells, the sunsets on the hillside, the scrummy food and ambience of the local pub, the stream side gardens and the endless circular routes to name a few - never mind the house and the garden itself! From our home, we’re never far from being completely spoilt by the beauty of North Devon to enjoy our favourite hobbies, which include mountain biking; surfing; running; walking and skateboarding. We love to offer people the chance to soak up all the best bits of our home, whilst we explore other areas in the UK and beyond. Access to the property will be hassle free and confirmed upon reservation. We will be easily contactable up until and throughout your stay.

We love our charming, traditional British village. The village boasts a pub, a church, a vineyard with cafe serving food and drink - seasonal tours and wine tasting also available. A play park, with football pitch, table tennis, benches, toddler play area and streamside perimeter park is also a short walk from the cottage.
