Cosy, inviting and well-equipped, The Owl Box is ready to be your home-from-home, whether you are travelling for leisure or work. Located in the village of Horseheath, we are well connected by road and bus routes to Cambridge city and the surrounding areas, and all the local Science Research Parks. The Owl Box is fully kitted out with everything you need, including a comfy double bed, sofa, dedicated work space, smart TV, rain shower, well-equipped kitchen, private entrance & a private garden! A keybox provides the opportunity to check-in flexibly, but we will both be available via messaging if any help is required. If more urgent issues arise, our phone numbers will be available. We will either be just next door or a 15 minute drive away during the day.

Hello! I'm Ruth and I live in Horseheath with my partner -and Airbnb co-host- Harvey. We moved into our house at the end of 2021, and have loved the (fairly epic) task of doing up the old coal storage house to create The Owl Box next to our home. A lot of new DIY skills acquired! We both work at two of the local Science Parks, Harvey in academic research and myself for a biotech company. In our spare time we love to be outside in nature. We have worked to bring together all the best parts of our past holiday stays, to create a cosy cottagy space with modern features. We live just next door and are committed to making sure you have a great stay - we will be available to address any queries.

Located in the lovely, quiet village of Horseheath, with great transport links to Cambridge, Haverhill and the local area including Horseheath Racecourse and the Cambridge Science & Research Parks. Horseheath has a great pub, a post office and beautiful local walks. Free parking outside the property is always available. There is also a regular bus services between Haverhill and central Cambridge that stops a 1 minute walk from The Owl Box.
