The Anchorage is a lovely 5 bedroom Grade II listed property situated in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Staithes popular with artists, walkers and families alike! The Anchorage is just a short stroll to the beach and provides easy access to the many attractions found within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
The Anchorage is located in the old part of the village which has all you could want for your idyllic seaside break including lovely beach, great pubs and cafes, a treasure trove of a deli and traditional sweet shop, artisan craft centre, gift shops, Dotty’s vintage tea room, a butcher which sells wonderful meat and pies and Cobbles which serves ice cream, fudge, coffee, homemade sausage rolls and on weekend evenings artisan pizzas. At the top of the village there is another pub, fish and chip shop, playground, plentiful car parking, Co-Op supermarket and Staithes Smokehouse and Fishmongers. Sitting in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, as well as being on The Cleveland Way and being close to Whitby, Saltburn-By-The-Sea means Staithes offers something for everyone! Most people do drive to Staithes and there is plenty of parking at the top of the village. Buses do run along the coast road giving access to Runswick Bay, Sands End, Whitby and Robin Hood Bay to the south and Saltburn-by-the-Sea to the north, which is were you will also find the nearest station.
