    The location of the property was excellent to explore the area such as Salcombe, Slapton sands and Dartmouth also within walking distance to Kingsbridge town centre with good restaurants and bars.

The Boathouse - a perfect retreat for two people. Thoughtfully designed and equipped for a comfortable, relaxed break. Sunny patio with glimpses through to the estuary. Off-street parking. Just under 1 mile from Kingsbridge town centre. Great pub only 9 mins walk away. Salcombe, Dartmouth and Totnes only 15-30 mins drive away. Sandy beach 15 min drive away. Spectacular coastal walks on offer nearby. Weekly bookings during the summer, 3 night min stays at other times. Sorry, no long term lets possible.
We love the freedom that Devon brings us after years of living and working in the South East - living by the water meant I could take up paddle boarding and open water swimming while as a family we can enjoy the beaches and coastal walks. We're on hand if anything is needed but respect your privacy. For a weekly stay we will supply a second set of towels, left in the top of the wardrobe.
Kingsbridge is a vibrant market town near the bustling tourist hot spots of Salcombe and Dartmouth. The Boathouse is a 20 minute ( just under a mile) flat walk into the centre of Kingsbridge, which has two butchers, a greengrocer, an excellent fishmonger, quaint cinema as well as charming boutique shops and cafes, and two large supermarkets. There's a bus stop 5 minutes walk away, where you can catch a bus to Dartmouth (amazing scenic ride along the coast) or the short ride into Kingsbridge. From Kingsbridge you can get buses to Salcombe, Totnes and Plymouth.
