Rowlands Annex is a modern self contained space in a peaceful location, it’s part of the owners property in a separate wing of the main house. Situated on Dartmoor National park, its 5mins walk to open moorland , perfect for those looking for a quiet relaxing break to explore Dartmoor. The property consists of two king bedrooms with Egyptian cotton sheets and Vi spring bed, and amazing countryside views, a small kitchenette area with table and chairs and a bathroom with double walk in shower. SkyTv, wifi and guest compliments are included with private secure parking. The Annex is on ground floor level with a separate private entrance and provides easy access for people with limited mobility. Guests will have sole use of one king room, one family room with a king bed and a single bed, and a kitchenette /entrance area , all rooms sharing a private bathroom. Although the property does not have a kitchen, There is a small kitchenette which includes large fridge, microwave, sink, kettle, coffee maker, and table and chairs. If you fancy a lazy morning breakfast admiring the beautiful views, a welcome hamper can be arranged for a small extra fee. Guests have shared use of the garden with play equipment and table and chairs including a ground level trampoline and fantastic unspoilt country views with the local cows to entertain you!

Rowlands Annex is a family home so we are usually on site to help with any questions or give great tips to get the most out of your stay, we aim to pamper you and make your stay the best it can be so if you would like anything arranged for your arrival please let us know, We can provide a loan of a cool bag for day trips in the summer and travel cot or bed guard for little ones. Crapstone is a wonderful peaceful village on Dartmoor between Plymouth and Tavistock perfect for a relaxing Devon break , it is a 30 min walk or 5min drive to Yelverton where you can get a bus every 20 mins to Plymouth and you can find the local co-op, chemist, garage, post office , butchers and deli, there are lots of local pubs to enjoy a meal out and some great local attractions for all ages which your hosts can give you information on. The property is only 6 miles from Tavistock (Market town of the year) and 8 miles from Plymouth for shopping, culture and nightlife. If you enjoy walking , there’s some amazing places to explore, climb Local Tors and enjoy the privilege of welcoming in the new day on your own in miles of empty moorland, if you enjoy cycling , Tour de Britain runs through Princetown on our doorstep, so follow in their footsteps! We can provide secure bike storage.
