“Rosebank “was built in 1898, and is a sandstone semi-detached Victorian villa. It has retained a lot of its original character with high ceilings and solid wood floors . The owners family photos dating back to Victorian times are displayed throughout the house . Needlework, the owner loves creating are also dotted around the house . On the ground floor Rosebank is furnished with high quality soft furnishings in an eclectic mix of colour and patterns, lending itself to the Victorian era . Relax in the front lounge while you contemplate the next leg of your journey

Dear guests, welcome to “Rosebank “ , and Thankyou for choosing to stay here. I hope you will have a memorable time while you explore the Highlands and Islands . I have lived here since 1998 with my husband Tommy . I took a break from B&B for around 10 years and have just come back to it in the past year , enjoying it very much . I love meeting people from all over the world . It is very interesting hearing about their countries and travel experiences . I aim to make your stay as comfortable and helpful as I can . . If you wish to sit and relax , you can do so in your room or in the main lounge downstairs where you can enjoy a ( complimentary ) cup of tea / coffee along with some home baking while you contemplate the next leg of your journey .. On colder evenings you can enjoy a nice cosy fire to sit by . Though there are comprehensive information books in your rooms , sometimes it’s easier to ask about the things to do .. So I will assist you with anything you need to know , or if you want help contacting agencies or make table reservations I can easily assist you . . May I suggest that you book your dinner table when dining in the city . Inverness has a very high tourist volume between April and October so it is highly advisable to prebook your dinner table .There are many choices of places to dine but I recommend the “ Mustard seed “ which is on the river Ness just a few minutes from Rosebank or “The Kitchen “ I look forward to meeting you at “Rosebank” . Guests love taking a pleasure cruise boat or inflatable rib through Loch Ness . Guests also love Culloden tours and most recently “Outlander “ tours which are very popular since the t.v series began . The city is split in half by the river and has beautiful walks for miles . There are enchanting castles to see , which are all near the city . Though it is called a city Inverness feels like like a small town and is very easy to find ones way around it , with plenty of places to see and enjoy a meal . From “Rosebank “ B&B all local amenities are between 5 and 20 minutes walk .
