I moved to the Black Isle from the Black Country. I love meeting people from different backgrounds. I enjoy walking my dogs, Vincent and Deborah (Labrador and Golden Retriever) and swimming in the sea and I'm always happy for guests to join me! I am also happy to recommend local walks, places to visit and places to eat. I work part-time for National Trust Scotland at Hugh Miller's Birthplace Cottage in Cromarty.

Avoch is a picturesque fishing village on the Moray Firth, just 20 minutes from the Highland Capital Inverness in one direction and Cromarty in the other. 2 George Street is an old Fishermans Cottage on a narrow street in the Dock area of the village. Nearby attractions include Chanonry Point, one of the best places to spot Bottlenose Dolphins in Britain, (There are dolphin spotting trips available from Avoch Harbour), The Fairy Glen Waterfall at Rosemarkie and Munlochy Clootie Well.
