(NOW REOPENED) Occupying an open sizeable plot, this modern, comfortable chalet is located in the Boat of Garten holiday park nestled within The Cairngorm National Park. Inside the chalet is a relaxing, bright and airy lounge with french doors opening onto the decking area with table and chairs for enjoying the outdoors. The well fitted open plan kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster etc. and dining area. The hallway leads to the main shower room & toilet and also to the twin bedroom. At the end of the hall is the roomy main bedroom with a king size bed and also an ensuite toilet. Bedding, duvets, towels, dish cloths, cleaning materials, toilet rolls etc are all supplied. Or you can bring your own if desired. Full gas radiator central heating throughout is easily controlled by the remote thermostat and there is also an electric 'feature' fire in the lounge. The rental charge includes gas & electricity. The complete chalet is maintained and cleaned to a high standard for the comfort of our guests. Parking at the chalet can accommodate 2 cars (head to toe) on the private space provided.

We have been operating self-catering accommodation since 2002 in Inverness and fully understand the expectations of todays holiday makers and travellers. We may not be around to welcome you on arrival mainly due to the varying arrival times of guests however checkin is done by a 'key safe' at the chalet with a 4 digit code which will be advised in advance.

Boat of Garten is a charming busy village in the heart of The Cairngorm National Park. - There is plenty to see and do nearby:- The Strathspey Steam Railway has a station here, halfway between Aviemore & Broomhill. The famous Osprey hide is at nearby Loch Garten. For sport there is Golfing in the village, and fishing on The River Spey. Cycle hire is available beside the railway station. There are numerous walking and cycling routes through the forests and beside the river. A really picturesque track runs partly along side the railway for walking and cycling to Aviemore, 5 miles in length. Nearby is Aviemore with shops and restaurants - only 8 minutes away. - Cairngorm Mountain and restaurant - only 25 minutes away. - Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig - only 20 minutes away. - Highland Folk Museum at Newtonmore - only 22 minutes away. - Landmark Adventure Park at Carrbridge - only 6 minutes away - Dining out is provided in the village at The Boat Hotel at the railway station and Andersons Restaurant just opposite the Holiday P.ark
