Roath is a sought after central area of Cardiff within 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive of the City Centre. A couple of minutes walk from the house regular and reliable Cardiff Bus services are available direct to the centre. Taxis or Ubers are almost instant in arrival and very reasonable in cost. Both Roath and nearby Penylan are vibrant areas with many diverse restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and supermarkets catering for all tastes, so you will be spoiled for choice. Two late night national supermarkets are a couple of minutes away. Wellfield Road also minutes away has an array of vibrant diverse restaurants, bars and cafes if you choose to stay local. Whitchurch Road a little further away is also recommended. Generally Roath's residents are professionals and families. My house is among other residential Victorian terraced houses and within a safe, quiet and professional neighbourhood. Within a few minutes walk you can find the iconic Roath Park Lake which I would recommend during your stay. A 3 mile round trip walk would take you along the Recreation Ground, Pleasure Gardens, Rose Gardens, Botanical Gardens, Roath Park Lake and the Wild Gardens.
