Our country house The Grange is at the top of a third of a mile private lane with its own private 34 ft heated swimming pool (year round). Newly decorated this year with a large garden and mature orchard, outdoor decked dining area, patio seating area and firepit grill. On a working dairy farm which won a national Most Beautiful Farm award at the House of Lords and you'll soon see why. Steeped in history The Grange is a century old house on a site dating back several hundreds of years.
Hello, We'd love to welcome you to our family farm. We take a real pride in making sure guests have the most amazing and memorable experiences in our beautiful properties and that's why we achieved a 5 star rating on one of our booking sites from every guest who visited us last year. This is a new property which we're pleased to offer our guests. It caters for 10 people and we're dog and child friendly (we have 3 dogs and 3 children ourselves too!). We aim to give guests a lovely place to stay which also captures the farm experience - that's why we make sure our visitors have their own pet chickens to look after in a coop outside the house, which also mean yummy eggs for breakfast! Nestled between 3 thriving local villages, Clyst Hydon, Talaton and Plymtree. There are local shops and pubs in each - The Blacksmith Arms can be walked to on foot in 10 minutes across the fields and The Five Bells in Clyst Hydon is listed as one of the UK's top 50 gastro pubs (can be walked to in 45 minutes or a 5 minute drive away. There are plenty of walks /cycles, beaches 30 mins, Exeter 25 mins. There is also a local riding stables a 10 minute drive away offering hacks and lessons, fruit picking 25 minutes away by car and national trust properties Killerton and Knightshayes 15 and 25 minutes drive away respectively. Local beaches including Beer, Lyme Regis and Exmouth can be reached in approx 30 minutes. There are a number of good walks locally including a lovely 6 mile circular walk which you can literally step outside to join. It's an hour's drive to Bristol and only 25 mins from Exeter. We're also well connected by Tiverton Parkway railway station (25 min drive), so you can get to the centre of London in a couple of hours.
