Battle town centre is 1/2 mile from the property and has some beautiful shops, local pubs/restaurants and, of course, the beautiful Abbey itself, a must for historical enthusiasts. Local places of interest include: Hastings Bexhill Eastbourne Herstmonceaux/Pevensey castles Sovereign Harbour Beachy Head Battle Golf Course There are plenty of good walking and cycling routes and woodland with Bewl Water and Bedgebury Forest not far away. With the Battle Abbey close by plus other amazing wedding venues Blackfirs would be an ideal location for a 2-3 day bridal party package. Use the venue to: Pre and post wedding celebrations Hair and make up preparation Relax in a home spa Pre-order wedding flowers from our own Wedding florist Stress free preparation Welcome packages available on request A hot tub is available for guest use.
