I am a friendly, happy Scot who loves travel... We've a pretty unique property in an historic building so we list it on AirBnB to help fund renovations and to share it! I have tried to furnish the apartment in the style I appreciate when staying away from home: well-equipped, pleasant to be in and clean and calm. I love languages and speak French plus some Spanish, German and a tiny bit of Arabic! Hope you choose our place! Experience a unique stay in our ground floor, modern apartment located in one of Perth's historic castles! The building dates back to the 16th centaury, with gorgeous architecture and views of surrounding Perth. You wont find the galleys and armouries inside! The apartment is modern and stylish, offering a comforting "home away from home" feel, and is equipped with all the essentials to ensure you have everything you need for your stay. Provisional Licence Number: PK12553P

Neighbourhood information

Not every neighbourhood has a 16th Century castle in it! We have some interesting information on the history of the building and the local area which you can read when you stay. Although a mainly residential neighbourhood, there is a small, well-run Co-op supermarket just 2 streets away (17 Darnhall Drive PH2 0HD) which is open 6am-10pm 7 days a week. Also nearby are tennis courts (Darnhall Tennis Club, Orchard Place PH2 0HS, and a golf course (Craigie Hill Golf Club, PH2 0NE. The nearest children's playpark is in Darnhall Crescent and there's also a great one outside Perth Leisure Pool which is less than 15 minutes away on foot and just 3 minutes in the car (Glasgow Road, Perth, PH2 0HZ). The swimming pool complex opens at 10 am everyday. There's also a good pub within walking distance, The Cherrybank Inn, which serves quality food and drinks with friendly service.
