Gardener's Cottage is a beautifully restored 19th Century Hay Barn set on the historic grounds of Mathern Palace, a Grade I listed property dating back to 1408 and notable for its restoration by Henry Avray Tipping in 1875. A village pub is within walking distance, and there are plenty of footpaths to explore the beautiful outdoors. Gardener's Cottage is a modern and comfortable retreat, ideal for exploring the Welsh countryside and in close proximity to Bristol. Gardener's Cottage has been lovingly renovated for a modern and comfortable country retreat set in the grounds of an idyllic historic palace. The cottage can be accessed by a generous gravel drive with free parking for the duration of your stay. A large back garden is available for guests to use, and is shared with the cottage next door. - Gardner's Cottage has been lovingly renovated for a modern and comfortable country retreat set in the grounds of an idyllic historic palace. - The cottage has been designed with an open plan kitchenette, dining table that comfortably seats 4 and sofa/ TV area to relax. - Gardener's Cottage is located next door to an identical cottage, The Potting Shed, also available to rent and both cottages share the garden.
