We had a gorgeous meal in the restaurant and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Lovely bar area and grounds. We took full advantage of the gym and pool.

Initially I thought the room was quite pleasant, and considering it was a single room, it wasn't pokey and was quite roomy and comfortable.
The location right by the canal was a very pleasant surprise.

Great location, was a very much loved property and it was very welcoming. Host was welcoming and gave a lot of finishing touches to make you feel welcome, including fresh products on Arrival. Would remains the blue plant aquarium around 15 minute drive away. It’s in the middle of most places. For me travelling from Holyhead to North Nottinghamshire was and ideal stopping point. Evening meal available up to about 9 30.Beautiful spacious room and lovely food, very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Kelsall is a beautiful village, but the hotel provided inadequate standard of food. There was another hotel quite near and we ended up having our evening meal there for 2 evenings out of 3. The hotel needs to do something about the poor cooking at the Royal Oak Hotel. We recommend visiting the Anderson Boat Lift in Northwich. Here for Folk Festival.
Here for Folk Festival. Pretty village with good number of shops. Frequent buses going through the village. Couple of pubs and eating places, particularly "The Morris Dancer" in the centre of the village.

We were very grateful that they managed to let us check in earlier than usual to allow us to deposit belongings before going to a wedding. Great parking for our motorbike and additional parking to the rear of the hotel. Looks like it has a really good beer garden. The staff were all friendly and attentive.
