The room was large and well furnished and well supplied with tea and coffee. The wall mounted tv was in the right position for the bed and the bathroom was well laid out with a bath and shower. Cooked breakfast was just right and in the evening was a free buffet which the locals also seem to have enjoyed. A pleasure to stay there.
Seventeen acres of beautiful formal gardens and parkland surround this grand Victorian hotel. Fresh produce, grown on Willington Hall Hotel’s grounds, is used in the restaurant's modern British...

A warm friendly atmosphere with lovely food. Far nicer than many corporate or large hotel chains. All food was slow to arrive but fabulous quality and clearly freshly cooked by a proper chef

We had a lovely stay. All the staff were very helpful and always smiley. The room was very clean, spacious with everything we needed.
The food from the pub was also very tasty, breakfast there were many different options. Big thank you for making our little holiday so wonderful!
A haven of peace and tranquillity, this traditional English country house lies in a unique rural setting, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a 60 acre lake, yet only 12 miles from historic Chester.

Lovely large room. It was very pleasant sitting outside eating the first evening, it was raining the second evening, but it was equally pleasant dining in the library.

Great location, was a very much loved property and it was very welcoming. Host was welcoming and gave a lot of finishing touches to make you feel welcome, including fresh products on Arrival. Would remains the blue plant aquarium around 15 minute drive away. It’s in the middle of most places. We visited the farmers arms for a few drinks and was a nice quiet place and nice beer garden.

Kelsall is a beautiful village, but the hotel provided inadequate standard of food.
There was another hotel quite near and we ended up having our evening meal there for 2 evenings out of 3.
The hotel needs to do something about the poor cooking at the Royal Oak Hotel.
We recommend visiting the Anderson Boat Lift in Northwich. Had a wonderful time sailing down the river.

Here for Folk Festival.
Here for Folk Festival. Pretty village with good number of shops. Frequent buses going through the village. Couple of pubs and eating places, particularly "The Morris Dancer" in the centre of the village.

Walked down to a lovely little coffee shop called "Citrus'. Everyone was especially nice and sitting in there, its lovely to see how everyone knows each other in the village. Coffee is fantastic quality and the smoothie I had was delicious
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful that they managed to let us check in earlier than usual to allow us to deposit belongings before going to a wedding. Parking was in a good sized car park at the rear of the hotel.
We asked for two rooms next door to each other and they provided these for us.
Breakfast was excellent and plentiful!
The location and staff, a very friendly atmosphere and a great location for walking and cycling the rooms are a good size
Food quality was superb
This was our second stay which is rare as we tend to only visit a hotel once but we loved our 1st visit so returned which was just as good if not better
Lovely Twin room to match the Cheshire countryside hotel setting. Comfy beds, large TV, large modern shower. Free car parking. Later check out time 11:00am on Sunday.
I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant served lovely food and the hotel really does look amazing. A real gem of a find
