Hello, and thank you for reading our Hosts Information. Kingsdown Holiday Park is a unique and charming family friendly holiday park. It sits on the top of the famous White Cliffs of Dover between Deal and Dover, Kent. On a clear day you can see France! The park has much to offer e.g. Indoor Swimming Pool, Tennis Court, Mini Golf, Volleyball, Table Tennis as well as a Childrens Playground. The pebble beach is a matter of minutes’ walk away. At busy times of the year the Owners of the chalets organise evening entertainment which caters for all ages. Please check with us if there will be any events on during your dates. Our chalet is deluxe, modern and well-equipped. We go the’ extra mile’ for our guests by giving them a ‘home from home’ experience. Many of our guests rebook after just one stay!! The large front decking is secure and easily sits 6 people at the table. Guests are welcome to use the Gas BBQ. This leads through to a light and airy Living Room, where again, 6 guests can easily sit and watch TV or enjoy the free Wi-Fi. The Kitchen is extremely well-equipped including Hob, Oven, Fridge/Freezer, Kettle, Toaster Espresso Coffee machine, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and space for your own food. The dining room table sits neatly at the rear of the kitchen, as does the door that leads out to the rear decking. The main bathroom is also situated on the ground floor. The bath has a shower over it as well as a sink, toilet, and a heated towel rail. The third bedroom has two 3ft 6” beds, a side table, lamp and hanging space.

The stairs to the first floor are quite steep (see picture). Here we have a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom. Both have a wardrobe, a large shelved cupboard and bedside tables with lamps. Both have TV’s, heaters/fans, as well as ‘accent’ headboards!! To help with those ‘middle of the night’ visits to the bathroom, we have a toilet and sink upstairs, which also takes the pressure off the main bathroom. At the top of the stairs there is a retractable stair gate, at the bottom a slide-in version. The chalet also has a highchair which you are more than welcome to use. Please bring your own travel cot should you need one. All windows throughout the chalet are double glazed. The water is heated by immersion and the heating is oil radiators (no Gas on the park), electric fans are in each room. All linen and towels are included (please bring your own swimming towels) and NO coin meters for electric!! (this is included in the price too!!) We have another chalet on the park, which is for our personal use, which means we can ‘normally’ meet and greet all of our guests (unless we are away ourselves!!). We have tried to think of everything that you may need for a stay at 47, but if you have any questions, then please do ask.
