Campston Farm is a cottage perfectly positioned on the wild and beautiful island of mainland Orkney. Front row seats facing North with no light pollution provide unrivalled views of the infamous Aurora! The cottage is within walking distance to a small beach down the private farm track, with another larger beach 1 mile away. Enjoy Orcas, porpoises, seals, otters, puffins and so much more amazing wildlife, which can all be viewed from the shore.

We are a husband and wife team at Campston where Rhiannon works as the admin for the holiday let alongside her full time job. Jack does all the leg work at the property as your cleaner, maintenance man and welcoming host. Jack is passionate about farming and is always busy looking after the cows, sheep, chickens and ducks on the farm. They love welcoming guests to stay at the Farmhouse so they can experience the magic of Orkney. The holiday let also provides additional income as the Campston cattle herd and flock are still in their infancy stage and provide little income.

You will need a car to get around the island. Car rental places are 10 minutes drive away at the airport. There is ample parking available.
