2 Manor Lodge Cottages is a delightful, 19th century, Cotswold stone cottage in the beautiful village of Paxford, near Chipping Campden. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms, with a family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom.The private and secure garden and patio provide a welcoming outdoor space for al fresco dining and relaxation, while inside is a lovely living room with an open fireplace and a practical yet very inviting kitchen-dining area with French windows to the garden. There is a pretty cottage garden that runs down the side of the house with a patio that wraps around to the rear. Guests can enjoy a drink or a meal on the patio at the large circular table, relax on the lawn or sit in the little pergola under the garden’s towering fir tree. With the easy access from the garden to the kitchen, al fresco entertaining will be an integral part of a stay during the warmer months. To one side of the garden is off-road parking for two cars. Paxford is a delightful, largely undiscovered village on the northern edge of the Cotswolds, two miles to the east of Chipping Campden. The village has a hall (bookable for private events) and a children’s adventure playground. It is surrounded by fabulous walking and cycling country, with routes in all directions. Guests will find walking and cycling maps at the cottage. Within a few miles are several popular destinations, including Moreton-in-Marsh, Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold, and Stratford-upon-Avon is less than 30 minutes’ drive away.
