The house is located in a rural area in the hamlet of Goth. It has a garden enclosed with plants and trees. There are a few other houses in the hamlet so it is not completely isolated. The house has a large stone staircase that leads to the front door and a covered terrace, where you enter a cozy kitchen diner with a huge fireplace, sitting area, kitchen and dining table. The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 1 with a bath. Outside in the garden you will find a beautiful swimming pool that is entirely for your private use.

We give our guests space but we are available when needed. We, Bridget & Kevin, are a young Dutch couple. Bridget (self-employed) lives in France all year round, and Kevin who works as a nurse is still active in the Netherlands during the winter months. We are therefore generally always present during the guests' stay, because we live on the same property (we may meet in the garden). We are available for questions during the entire stay. It is possible that we are not present for a few days, but this will be discussed with the guests. Bridget speaks French, English, Spanish and Dutch, and Kevin speaks German, English and Dutch, so we can help (almost) everyone if there are any questions.

The house is located in the department of Lot, formerly known as the province of "Quercy", in southwestern France. The department owes its name to the river that flows through it: the Lot. This river is a 10-minute drive from the house and is one of the cleanest rivers in France. You can go fishing, canoeing, or take a boat trip. You also have organizations where you can book canyoning and climbing tours, and there are several tree climbing parks nearby. If you drive through the beautiful landscape, with many valleys and rocky hills, you will come across many vast vineyards. The house is located in the oldest wine region of France, where the red "Cahors wine" (Malbec) comes from. There are many wineries in the area where you can taste and buy wine on location. There are many picturesque villages and towns to visit nearby. The nearest village is Sérignac, 4 km away. Here you will find a restaurant/bar and a small convenience store where you can order fresh bread every morning. In the summer months, many activities are organized in the region. For example, you can visit a food market in a different village every evening.
