In the historic heart of Alsace's wine-growing capital, discover our cozy 4 holiday home in Barr, a village located at the foot of Mont Saint Odile between Obernai and Sélestat. From this destination steeped in history and tradition, you can set off to explore Central Alsace with its vineyards and half-timbered houses amid the Vosges and the Black Forest. In winter, the snow shuttle ("Navette des Neiges") departs from Barr to take you directly to the Champ du Feu ski slopes. Set in an 18th-century building we offer you the very highest standards of comfort for an authentic stay full of charm. “Chez l'Alsacien" is a 3-room holiday apartment offering 67m² of living space for up to 5 people (plus a cot on request). It has been completely renovated with great care, preserving the original materials and furnished mainly with authentic antique furniture found during our travels. Two bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home, a comfortable living area, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a furnished balcony will delight our guests looking for a relaxing and care-free break.

Neighbourhood information

Parking : The accomodation is located in the historic centre of Barr, 300 m from the town hall and tourist office. The nearest car park is the PARKING DU COLLÈGE (or STAHL) at 21 rue du Collège, just opposite the building entrance. Just cross the road and you're there. Parking is free but limited to 1,5 hours on weekdays. A few metres further on, at 15 rue du Collège, the PARKING DEGERMANN is outside the restricted zone, so parking is unlimited and totally free of charge.
